Yale Commercial Privacy Augusta Grade 2 Cylindrical Indicator Lever
How This Function Works:
Typically used in Restrooms or other rooms where privacy is required, but not necessarily a keyed lock. Either lever operates the latch unless outside lever is locked by pressing the push button on the inside lever. When push button is activated the exterior indicator will show red with picture of closed lock. Lock Button automatically releases when the inside lever is turned or the door is closed. You cannot lock yourself out of the room, if the button is pushed and the door is pulled shut from the outside, the depression of the latch on the edge of the door will unlock the door, so the door has to be closed to engage lock. Emergency release in outside lever. Inside lever always active.Specifications:
