How Double Keyed Store Door Function Works: - Keyed cylinder on both sides. So if one side is unlocked with a key, the other side will be  unlocked and vice versa.

How Institution/Asylum Function Works: Both inside and outside lever always locked. Dead locking latch bolt operated by key on either side. Works similar to a storeroom lock where key is used to open but remains locked when the key is removed - functions this way on both sides.
