Top Knobs Warranty Information

All Top Knobs cabinet hardware is handmade and finished, so some lot-to-lot variation is normal. Due to the nature of the finishing process, some items may also have variations within a lot in color or finish. All Top Knobs cabinet knobs and pulls are designed for indoor use only.

Care of Your Top Knobs Cabinet Hardware

Top Knobs cabinet knobs and pulls should only be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with clear water, then wiped dry with a cloth. Water or soap residue should not be left on the product, as chemicals and minerals can eventually damage the protective coating and attack the finish. Do not use harsh cleaners or waxes, as these can also damage the protective finish and void the warranty. Top Knobs cabinet hardware is designed for indoor use only.

Top Knobs USA hereby expressly disclaims and excludes any and all expressed and implied warranties except those specifically set forth below.

Warranty Disclaimer

TOP KNOBS USA SPECIFICALLY AND EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Warranty Coverage

Top Knobs USA warrants for one (1) year from the date of purchase that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship. Top Knobs USA also warrants the finish on its product against tarnishing for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to any products that have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident, or that have been altered or repaired by persons other than Top Knobs USA, where in the judgment of Top Knobs USA such actions affect the construction or operation of the product. This warranty applies only to the first residential user and is nontransferable.

Exclusive Remedy and Limitation of Liability

The sole and exclusive remedy of the Buyer, and the sole and exclusive liability of Top Knobs USA, at Top Knobs USA's option, shall be the return of the non-conforming products and the repair or replacement of such non-conforming products, or the return of the non-conforming products and repayment of the purchase price of those products. Top Knobs USA's obligation for non-conforming product shall terminate one (1) year after the purchase of the product.

Top Knobs USA shall not be liable for any damages, including transportation expenses, caused by the breach of any warranty.

How to Obtain Warranty Performance

To obtain performance of the obligations described herein, the Buyer shall do the following:

Step 1

Within one (1) year of delivery, contact Top Knobs USA, provide written proof specifying the defect in the products, and request instructions on how to proceed.

Step 2

Allow Top Knobs USA to inspect the products at a reasonable time and at a reasonable location.

Step 3

Return the products to Top Knobs USA within 30 days after being instructed to do so by Top Knobs USA, or to such location as Top Knobs USA may designate.
