Known for being a brand that releases popular designs and innovative products, you'll have no problem finding Emtek decorative plate locks that are available with multiple knob or lever styles and finishes. You'll also have wide selections of sideplates that lock as well as ones that don't. The ordering process is easy: choose a plate style, then select from the various options for that set. There's plenty of room for customization to make sure that whatever you buy is unique to you.
If you need a keyed lock sideplate, you'll have the options of 358 CC sideplates and 512 CC sideplates. The letters "CC" stand for "Center to Center Measurement," measuring the space between the center of the door lever to the center of the deadbolt. Sideplates that are 358 CC are 3 ⅝" center to center while sideplates that are 512 CC are 5 ½" center to center. Emtek's non-locking sideplates have a greater variety in size, the smallest measuring 3 ⅝" and the largest measuring 10 inches. The size that you'll need depends on your door, so please give us a call if you're not sure which size to buy.
Once you decide on a plate style, you'll need to choose a knob or lever and a finish. Just a few of the many finishes available to you when buying Emtek decorative plate locks include polished chrome, French antique, oil rubbed bronze, and unlacquered brass (for a higher price). Next, you'll be required to select measurements for the backset and door thickness as well as choosing a strike and faceplate type and latch type. If you're unsure of what any of these things are as you're filling out the provided form, you can click the little box that says, "What's this?" next to each category's name. Again, if you still need help, feel free to give us a call and we'll be happy to walk you through the process.
As you're shopping our Emtek products, keep in mind that Emtek covers its door hardware with a 5-year finish and mechanical warranty. (Living finishes are not covered under this warranty as they change over time).
