A select few of Baldwin's handlesets have preselected finishes that while others can be customized to match your own stylistic needs. Our selection of Baldwin handlesets comes in three possible functions, including Single Cylinder Entrance, Double Cylinder, and Full Dummy. The Single Cylinder Entrance function allows the thumbpiece to operate the handleset latch from the door's exterior while the key operates the deadbolt. From the interior side of the door, the knob or lever operates the handleset latch, and a thumb turn operates the deadbolt.

The Double Cylinder function has the same exterior operating principles as the Single Cylinder Entrance function, but the same operating principles apply to the interior of the door as well. This option is not recommended for most exterior doors because in the case that there is an emergency, occupants would have to search for a key to escape the building. The Full Dummy features a dummy trim that is for the non-working side of double doors. The interior of the door features a matching dummy trim handleset.

Baldwin handlesets with levers can be customized to suit right-handed or left-handed people. After you've filled out the rest of the customization fields, including choosing a finish and measurements for door thickness, you can add your dream Baldwin handleset to your cart and enjoy. Keep in mind that all Baldwin products are subject to a 25% restocking fee when returned. Baldwin products are custom assembled per order and are often specially ordered depending on your selections. When items like these are returned, they have to be disassembled and inspected to ensure they are resellable and have all the screws and other mounting hardware they require.
